This is what life took away from me:
Perfection was taken away rather the thought of it was traded for some form of lethargic pride and self preservation.
Life made me a category and I recruited. Life made me say that I am evolving and i evolved and snigger under my breath because those statements didn't go past my oral cavity. The plurality was always resounding.
Life took away my honesty. It told me that virtue had no gain except it is inspected. It told me that nice guys finish last, and no one wins from behind. So I believed it. There can be no pride in service or reward in selflessness.
Life took away my creativity. When I tried to innovate they told me that the horse was still going to be the fastest means of transportation. Thank you Ford. The A type did more than move it liberated. It told me that the best things we could achieve are already in existence, so why bother?
Life took away my intellect. I saw no need to question, no answers are given. Faith was pushed down my throat but no knowledge to solidify the mash of God. So I gave up thinking, I gave up searching, I gave up God, because when you ask me I will tell you some things are not meant to be understood or searched just accept. I did.
Life took away my humanity. Now I have learnt not to love, but lie to love. When a rule is called golden but it is but it's actual value is equated to dung. How can I be superior in myself,to myself
Life took away my spirit and left me with the indecision and inadequacy of my soul not to mention the unquenchable hunger of my body.
Life took it all away and sent me bear and I know I am not alone. Since life took it all away I am left at the end of my strength. From where pure strength begins and their I accepted my emptiness in trade for substance, faith based on knowledge and fate based on Faith. Then, I tipped the scale and crossed the divide of eternity. Life was never meant to give life but light was. Then I began to live as Life did not supply so life never took anything away from me.
