Waiting

I was promised a dance and I intend to have it
I will wait for the music to match the steps I have planned out
While turns are taking
I am waiting

I hear the notes from the band
I heck will play them at my free time
The sways and plie's
The counts and the flushes
Patiently my feet must match the count

And when the conductor moves his Baton
I know that gesture all too well
Raising to take this dance
And the pianist misses the score
Saving the situation the conductor calls a medley

And I was ready to take my dance
my feet was counting
But now I stand like one tired of sitting but not waiting
But the sheet has to go one more round
Before I can step out again to claim my dance

But I know this well so I can tell
This time will come
This dance will  be danced
I know both the dancer and the conductor
The crescendo is around the corner

Here it is. In time
As the metronome clocks in
In the husk of my counting tongue
"May I have this dance? "

Hiccups

My biological trigger
The motion that controls my body
And leaves me in doubt if who owns me.

If it is just what it is then I am safe,
But when it happens in life I can't say.
For what made a poet of me?

I can't say I am,
But this hiccups of life have sent me
to a refuge I for a while ignored.

For now I have rhymes, lines and time
And the refuge for posterity I yield
For if your eyes see this, you have my soul.
When the hiccups are over
As they always pass
I will be the same, like before meets after

Yet in learning I have gained
That I can in Providence lay,
That won't be hurt or dismayed.

Now I have written, but not informed
Yet I have for a fact grown
To be humble to cry no for hiccups

But for hiccups

Growth

I remember my first 10
All it was for was sweets and chewing gum
It was over before it came.

I remember my first 100
Now that was for more,
And from where I paid my first tithe.
A crisp 10.

I remember my first 1000
With excitement and fulfillment
A gift, but with empowering abilities
Before it became a note.

I remember my first 10,000
Yes I saved the 1000
In the pocket of every worn trouser
Before I could get a bank to pay them for my save.

I remember my first 50,000
That came after series of loses and gains
I learnt to deal, work, sweat and till.
And the sms alert said this...

I remember my first 100,000
Now that was a victory!
My progress for a candy crushing child to a man with a vision...
Away with the perks we often target

I await my first million
It might have grown before you read this note
In some chest locked safe
But be sure that I have never stopped growing.

The Confidence of Ignorance

The Confidence of Ignorance

1) The confidence of Ignorance, relates to everyone who has ever been content with not knowing.

2) Ignorance is a virtue. if well managed, It can produce limitless possibilities.

3) Ignorance is: a lack of knowledge, understanding, or education : the state of being ignorant.

4) Ignorance can often be misunderstood as a negative trait well far from it. Ignorance’s trait only relates to what it produces.

5) The state of not knowing refers to a knowledge of Ignorance.

6) Knowledge of Ignorance is in itself knowledge.

7) when you are aware of your Ignorance your situation is half resolved. You are on your way.

8) Knowledge will only be profitable when it is applied to deficiency.

9) e.g sitting in a nursery one class might make you the best student in class, but you would not have improved yourself.

10) you will have to know what you don’t know to know what you need to know.

11) however, so many people are ignorant about their Ignorance. Now that is bad!

12) Being ignorant about your Ignorance makes you confident to your own detriment.

13) This confidence brings about arrogance and pride as opposed to the Humility of one who is aware of his Ignorance.

14) When you are Informed about your Ignorance you begin to move towards information.

15) This movement towards knowledge is wisdom.

16) with an increase in wisdom, productivity becomes an end result and not a goal.

17) You need to lose the confidence of Ignorance to move into your happy place.

18) there is Fulfilment in Learning, and greater excitement when it is relevant.

19) so lose that ego and admit that you are not informed about everything and get admitted into the school of curiosity.

20)On a lighter note; curiosity kills cats and not human beings.
